Chuck Ferry and the new executive team have taken over the helm at Duos Technologies. $DUOT has a proprietary system that creates efficiencies and could feasibly prevent loss of life in the rail industry. In my view, every insurance company should require that all cargo and passenger trains have the Duos system to help prevent accidents, streamline inspections, save person-hours, and make our railways safer. The Duos system is not limited to railways alone.
Duos Technologies has proprietary intellectual property and implements a SAAS recurring revenue component that is being fine-tuned and will become a more significant portion of their revenue over time. The total addressable market continues to reveal itself due to potential expanded use cases for their technology. The TAM moving forward could be massive. The company has strategically focused on the low-hanging fruit to validate and improve the product while also identifying and exploring new use cases.
The part of this story that has grabbed my attention is the new leadership. Chuck has a 27-year career with the U.S. Military. He is a no-nonsense guy with a proven track record throughout his military career and professional career. Chuck successfully turned two companies around with impressive fashion in concise order. He took them from potentially going belly up. Chuck is strategic. He breaks down a company's pain points and puts together a strategy to lead them to sustainable success. In one instance, Chuck not only saved the company. Chuck took over the twenty million dollar revenue company and grew it into a two hundred million dollar revenue company in only a couple of years. When I speak with Chuck, it is clear that Chuck is a leader. It emanates from him, I listened to his background in this interview, and I know that Chuck has been through challenging situations that many people could not comprehend. I ask him in the discussion if running a public company is hard, and his response says it all. I believe Chuck will take his third turnaround and his first public company and turn it into a massively successful company.
