Good morning
We are looking at a premarket bounce in equities as we avoided another government shutdown. Volatility is back and with it fear has taken hold. Nobody knows when it will be over but for you long term investor types this is the opportunity to buy good stocks on sale. Identify the long term trend and areas of potential price support to start building out your positions.
Be careful with the derivative plays especially the triple and double levered products out there. XIV gave everyone a wake up call this week. Make sure you know what you are buying and play then size appropriate. They are meant to be short term trading vehicles do not hold size overnight.

Gapper off earnings right into 16 resistance could be a swing or long term hold look for a pull to 15 area as potential support for a bounce
Potential day trade off good pr gapping in premarket testing all time highs... look for red to green move maybe 7.80 or 8 to hold as support small floater
Potential long term hold play thick stock > sold off some stores and received 2.4 bil in cash potential entry on a pull to the 1.75 -1.85 area potential take out target
