Good morning everyone
The big day is here> Donald Trump will be in the big house by the end of today. Apparently, he will be learning how to use the nuclear codes first thing this morning. Uranium actually bounced yesterday around the same time that that news was announced. In a way I found that very funny but at the same time it is a little scary. I am not a pessimist by nature and I hate getting into political debates but I have to wonder if that was just a coincidence.
Personally, I am looking forward to the next four years and want to give this new administration the benefit of the doubt> just like i did for the administration before him. I hope that Washington gets a big shake up and we change the way things get done. I would like to see some pro growth initiatives, corporate tax relief and the repatriation of oversees profits. I would also like to see the country come together and begin to bridge the divide that seems to be getting wider.
In my mind, if you are lucky enough to live in these United States then you should rally behind the commander and chief. Like it or not, he is our President, and I fail to see what good can come from staying divided. I am not Republican or Democrat > I am an American first. I want what is best for our country and our people and I don't really care who takes us there. I just want better things for our country!
President Trump may or may not be the person to do that for the country the history books will eventually determine that. However, I firmly believe he deserves a chance.
We had a small pull back in the markets yesterday but we are still basically searching for a direction as we continue to consolidate.
The markets have been in consolidation mode for the last few weeks todays events could give us a clue as to which way we are going to break. We also have options expiration so it could be a volatile day.
1. SGYP FDA approval with a concerning label indication Could be very volatile potential Day trade opp
2. SWKS Nice earnings Beat gapping Don't Chase could be a day trade or swing opp
3. SDRL 3 could be decent support watch oil getting a little action premarket could be day trade or swing opp
4. BLDP flirting with a 2 roll day trade or swing opp had some pr this morning
5. BMY Watching this closely for a potential starter position in my long term portfolio
6. ENPH extended on the daily but worth watching for a day trade or maybe even a swing on a pullback to support
7. AXAS Upgrade with 3.50 PT this was on our stocks to watch list this week potential DT or Swing with a good pullback entry
8. IDXG Press release gapping big Very tiny floater need cash so do not chase and consider day trade only unless you crush it and want to hold lottos
9. CRTN Pr was a bit fluffy but insiders have been buying from .61 to 80 cents recently like the technical setup but they need cash so be careful
