Good morning
The strategy I laid out this weekend worked out pretty well yesterday as markets pulled back and the small energy and oil names caught some momentum. Trump will be addressing the UN today and Iran could be one of the topics he focuses on which could add to oils recent gains.
Trade talks and trade tensions continue to weigh on markets but we could get some positive news from talks with Japan which have just begun.
The Fed meeting begins today with the announcement due out on Wednesday. Markets could just chop around a bit heading into that event.
Cannabis stocks could get a lift as some firms are coming out with upgrades and raising price targets in the space. Equities are up slightly in premarket with oil and gold while the dollar is just slightly lower.
